Northpoint Capabilities Overview

Fleet Management | IVMSService & Maintenance Plans | Vehicle Sales

At Northpoint, we're not only an independent fleet management company, we’ve also been supplying vehicles to the retail and business sector for over 30 years. This puts us in a unique position as instead of relying on contractors for parts or labour, we centrally manage the supply, maintenance, monitoring or disposal of your vehicle fleet. It’s all done in house - reducing time, complexity and costs.

It’s not hard to see why some of Australia’s largest mining companies with the most diverse vehicle fleet’s trust Northpoint to supply, customise, manage and monitor their fleets.

So whether you’re a plumber, builder, development manager, not-for-profit organization, government department or any business in Australia, just ask us how we can reduce your running costs, and we’ll offer a free, no obligation consultation on how we plan on doing it.

Overcoming Unecessary costs

The truth is, vehicles are an expensive cost to any business, whether its 1 or 1000 vehicles. Some of our clients previously relied on their vehicle supplier to outsource the maintenance, management and monitoring of their vehicles through multiple contractors, each adding their own margin to the total cost. This would often increase complexity, time and money without fleet owners even realising.

So whether you're managing your vehicle fleet completely in-house, or utilising a third party, how do you truly know your getting the best value for money when it comes to purchasing, maintaining, customising or monitoring your vehicle fleet?

It’s simple, with our skills and resources in fleet management, we trust that we’ll find cost savings and efficiencies in any vehicle fleet from 1 – 1000 vehicles.

Fleet Management Options

IVMS

In Vehicle Monitoring System

Northpoint Fleet Management has developed a comprehensive IVMS reporting solution to suit any business.

An IVMS (In Vehicle Monitoring System) combines the installation of an electronic device in a vehicle, or fleet of vehicles, with purpose- designed computer software. IVMS units are also commonly referred to as GPS trackers or Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS).

Active IVMS units communicate critical vehicle information back to users in real time. The information is based on ‘rules’ such as vehicle location, speed, fuel level, key on/off or safety incidents for example.
